THEE OH SEES- The Master's Bedroom Is... - CD - TOMLAB

click to enlarge First full album by John Dwyer (ex-COACHWHIPS, PINK & BROWN or YIKES), previously known as his solo-project OCS, but now with a full band line-up! Rocking and twanging Garage-Punk here, but in contrast to his other bands, the songs are pretty harmonic and melodic, almost with a pop-appeal. And with an excellent, nearly bombastic sound, recorded Chris Woodhouse, and partly produced by David Sitek of TV ON THE RADIO!

THEE OH SEES- Warm Slime - CD / LP - IN THE RED

click to enlarge Features 7 songs, with the title track taking up one full side of the vinyl, being a 14 minutes long rocking blues-jam, as it was heard last time in the late 60s/early 70s by bands like IRON BUTTERFLY, TEN YEARS AFTER, C.C.R., etc.! The remaining 6 songs (LP B-side) are mixed bag then, with pretty obvious influences ranging from GUN CLUB, CRAMPS, to the TROGGS and early Surf-Rock bands.
