BRUCH- I'm Back - LP - TOTALLY WIRED RECORDS

click to enlarge Solo-project of Philipp Hanich (also member in DOT DASH and KRAFFTMALEREI). Damn cool! Spooky Electro-Psychobilly, like a combination of Roy Orbison, Lux Interior, Nick Cave and Alan Vega. If this guy was from the USA instead from Vienna, he'd be getting at least as much attention as DIRTY BEACHES, and most probably a whole lot more!

BRUCH- My Name Should Be Trouble - LP - TOTALLY WIRED RECORDS

click to enlarge 2nd full album by Philipp Hanich (DOT DASH member) from Vienna. The first song sounds a lot like SUICIDE, then the next got a sort of YOUNG MARBLE GIANTS feel to it, teaming up with NICK CAVE or LUX INTERIOR. And the remaining 10 songs are more or less in similar veins. Pretty fucking cool! Soon to be an Austro-Pop hero... http://totallywiredrecords.bandcamp.com/album/my-name-should-be-trouble

BRUCH- The Lottery - LP - CUT SURFACE

click to enlarge The highly anticipated 3rd full album (13 songs, LP with download-code included)! It's Synth-Pop, Post-Punk, Dark Wave, and goes beyond all that. A fantastic album, that's challenging, distressed, demonic, upbeat, urgent and first class entertainment. Forget David Bowie! Forget Alan Vega! Here's Bruch, the new King of Low Frequency... (pun intended!)
