CHEVEU- s/t - LP - BORN BAD RECORDS / S-S RECORDS

click to enlarge First full album by the kings of Synth-Punk from Paris/France! Heavy distorted guitars and synth-sounds crash into pounding computer-beats, flavoured with snotty vocals. Out of the 11 tracks on this album, 3 songs had been previously released on their singles on ROYAL resp. S-S RECORDS. But those who had missed out these (now sold-out) 7"s, won’t mind anyway. http://cheveunet.free.fr

click to enlarge Limited edition of 330 copies! Features 16 songs by this male/female guitar-and-drums duo. Recorded from 2002 to 2005, and all previously unreleased. Minimalistic Garage-Pop, sounding like VELVET UNDERGROUND-influences mixed with the sound and style of 60s-girl-group SHAGGS.

EASTER AND THE TOTEM- The Sum Is Greater Than Its Parts - LP - S-S RECORDS

click to enlarge Remastered repressing of LP originally released on IDEALOGICAL SOUND. 9 songs by this London based band, recorded from 1982 to 1985. A sound similar to their contemporaries ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN or THE SMITHS, but with more of a political agenda in their lyrics. https://soundcloud.com/s-srecords/b1-easter-totem-distant

FOTTUTISSIMA PELICCERIA ELSA- s/t - LP - S-S RECORDS

click to enlarge Originally released on cassette in 1983. Bursts of rage and anger, turning into total chaos and sludgy confusion. Scott Soriano calls them "the hardcore equivalent of TAMPAX". At least they were from the same region (Friuli), and have the same fucked-up sound... Directly mastered from a tape-copy, so don't expect too much from this LP quality-wise!

Well, actually they also sound a bit like early BLUMFELD. Double-LP in a limited edition of 550 copies! www.myspace.com/krysmopompas
