MORWAN- Svitaye, Palaye - MC+MP3 - FEEL IT RECORDS

click to enlarge Following the amazingly fantastic "Zola-Zemlya" album, here's a cassette featuring 7 new songs in 37 minutes. Professionally duplicated in a limited edion of 150 copies, and download-code included! Here's like the logical continuation of the previous album by this highly impressiver artist from Kiev/Ukraine. A sonic array, with that of course the Russian invasion in Ukraine had its effects on these recordings in more than one way, including emotions and moods like sadness, fear, pain, anger and hatred.

MORWAN- Zola-Zemlya - LP(COL.) - FEEL IT RECORDS

click to enlarge Second pressing on dark-green vinyl, limited to 300 copies! Truly awesome and highly impressive album by MORWAN aka Alex Ashtaui from Ukrainia. It's dark and rhythmic Post-Punk, with a powerful Industrial sound (reminiscent of bands like the SWANS). But what makes it really special, is the sonic combination with ethnic sounds in the Slavic and Arab tradition. No surprise since Ashtauis roots are of half-Ukrainian/half-Arab origin. An exceptionally original album, expanding the genre, sounding like a futuristic Eastern Post-Punk mantra.
