 New album by swiss heavy-psych Kraut-Rock band. Since the release of their debut ("Spencer's Return" in 2012), the band has expanded to a qintet, now including a singer as well. The LP contains 5 extensively long tracks, mixing Proto-Heavy-Rock with Grunge and Stoner, Psychedelic and Noise-Rock. Reminds a lot of the late 1960s, with a sound similar to bands like the ELECTRIC PRUNES, PROCOL HARUM or the early DEEP PURPLE, as well as SOUNDGARDEN... LP comes with download-code included.

 Nice little biography by this duo here: Greg Davis (drums/vocals) is a rich former broker, Cindy McEnroe the widow of John McEnroe's dead brother. Being bored of the millionaires life, they decided to make music, and moved to Hamburg... The 4 songs on their EP (pressed in a limited edition onto white vinyl) are minimalistic Pop-Punk ditties,
very reduced, but then again that's the special charm of their music! Except for the male vocal-parts, it reminds a lot of the FLAMINGO MASSACRES, or those girl-bands on and around the KILL ROCK STARS label in the 90s!

 6 songs by Johnny King (singer of the HIGH QUALITY GIRLS and keyboarder with FROEBE). Brilliant Minimal-/Electronica-Pop, reminiscent of german artists like Andreas Dorau or DER PLAN! Don't know much (or anything at all) about John Bruninski, but his 5 tracks on the other side compliment Johnny’s side pretty well!

 Neues Album der eigentümlich eigenwilligen Band aus Düsseldorf! Ein Sammelsurium an Sounds und Klängen, von Avant-Pop über Lounge-Jazz und Minimal-Synth bis zu Chanson-haftem (und allerhand mehr), untermalt die verschroben anarchische Lyrik des Sängers Andreas van der Wingen. Die Platte enthält 14 Songs und ist letztlich stilistisch nicht zu fassen. Vielleicht irgendwo zwischen Andreas Dorau, MUTTER und den GOLDENEN ZITRONEN... Mit Sicherheit lässt sich nur sagen, dass die Platte so seltsam anziehend ist, wie das Cover-Artwork abstossend hässlich ist.
