DRY CLEANING- New Long Leg - CD / LP - 4AD
 The highly anticipated first full album by this band from London. Another Avant-Post-Punk band, but an outstanding one, sounding like no others. It's feverish and dry cold at the same time. The AU PAIRS may come to mind as a reference (or "Songs Of The Free" period GANG OF FOUR, and a touch of G.vs.B.), but there's more to DRY CLEANING, with a sound, style and charm of their own.

 Following last years sensational debut "New Long Leg", here's already the second album. Not a radical change, but definitely smoother, melodic and focussed. Exploring new sounds and moods. Definitely less of a Post-Punk thing, and more like a mesmerizing Pop album, resp. Indie-Rock in the tradition of bands like THE SMITHS, with the laconic lyrics and almost spoken vocals by singer Florence Shaw being the standout trademark of the band.

REMA REMA- Fond Reflections - 2X12" - 4AD
 Short-lived band from London, existing only around 1978-79, and having released just one official 4Song-EP ("Wheel In The Roses", 4AD/1980). But one of the first bands fusing Post-Punk with Industrial- & Tribal-Noise sounds. Guitarist Marco Pirroni joined ADAM AND THE ANTS, while drummer Dorothy "Max" Prior worked with Genesis P.Orridge then, and later on became a member of PSYCHIC TV. This album is a collection of demos, rehearsals and live-recordings.
10 tracks on double-vinyl, packed in a gatefold-cover, with linernotes and download-code included.
