BLAXXX- For No Apparent Reason - LP - 12XU RECORDS

A threepiece featuring Lamont "Bim" Thomas (OBNOX) with OBN III members Orville Neeley and Tom Triplett. A collaboration that resulted in super-distorted Space-Rock jams, and blown-out Garage-Psyche stompers. These guys use an improvisational, jazz-influenced aesthetic to create raw, undiluted Rock, far from any any genre-boundaries. Limited edition with relief-print on front-cover, and with download-code included!
NEW still sealed copy!

EXHAUSTION- Phased Out - 12"+MP3 - 12XU RECORDS

click to enlarge Australian band, with previous releases on AARGHT! RECORDS. This 12" contains two new exclusive tracks, and remixes of both by Mikey Young and Rites Wild. The originals are pushing, with frenetically pounding rhythms, heaps of distorted guitar-sounds, surrounded by electronic Industrial effects. While the remixes are slowed-down with darker and more introspective atmospheres.

OBNOX- I'm Bleeding Now - LP - 12XU RECORDS

click to enlarge The first album, originally released in limited edition of 500 copies in 2011 on SMOG VEIL. Now available again on vinyl (incl. download-code) via 12XU. Rated by many as one of the best albums in 2011, and as the CHICAGO READER has put it: "This incredibly soulful and criminally overlooked release stands on the middle ground between the hyperactive garage punk of Jay Reatard and the blown-out Ohio pop of Guided by Voices." Well, it may as well stand somewhere else, but it definitely stands on its own.
